Rumour: Risk of cognitive impairment can be predicted for Alzheimer’s patients

Truth: This is true. In a study published in The Lancet Neurology, researchers were able to determine if an Alzheimer’s patient would develop cognitive impairment by measuring a number of different biomarkers. Learn more about the risk of cognitive decline in Alzheimer’s patients here.
